Electric Vehicles and the technologies that drive them are no doubt poised to become the next big revolution in transportation. But many components and the materials that are used in their production do not meet green benchmarks. Batteries in particular have and continue to pose major environmental problems both during their manufacturing process and the end of their life cycles.
